It was an exciting time for K&N Kenanga Holdings Bhd (KNKH), a long-established financial group in Malaysia, when they acquired a 100% stake in ECM Libra Investment Bank Berhad to become Malaysia’s largest independent investment bank. To signal the change, the company approached OVA to re-invent KNKH as a relevant, compelling and recognised leader in the industry.

In our audit we found that Kenanga is a well-established and accepted name. Moreover we found that it embodies the entrepreneurial spirit of the company as its founder used to make and sell garlands of Kenanga flowers as a young girl! Brand DNA and logo development followed along with documentation in the form of a visual identity system and corporate identity manual.
